Monthly partnerships help raise up the next generation of leader in India, children who will serve their community, break cycles of poverty, and bring hope where it is needed most.

What We Do

Child of Mine financially supports and walks alongside two children’s homes in Northern India. Many of the children we support come from orphaned or destitute backgrounds. At the homes they receive loving care, quality education, and a safe place to grow and thrive. Each home also runs a K–8 school that welcomes children from both the home and nearby communities, opening doors to learning and to a bright, hope-filled future.

Our family stretches far beyond India. Staff, volunteers, alumni mentors, and partners from Canada and around the world all come together to create hope, opportunity, and a future full of promise for children who need it most.

Post-secondary education is a key step in breaking the cycle of poverty. Child of Mine walks alongside students beyond graduation, financially supporting college and career-focused training and investing in their growth every step of the way. This equips children to thrive, serve, and lead in their communities as teachers, nurses, engineers, business owners, and much more.

Many alumni return to the homes as staff or volunteers, giving the next generation the same opportunities they once received. Their decision to come back is a powerful testament to the quality, care, and love of the homes and a vivid reminder that your support creates lasting change and hope for generations to come.

What Happens To My Money?

It costs nearly $245 per month to fully care for one child. That includes everything from meals and uniforms to school fees and trained caregivers. Every dollar is carefully managed to make sure children receive consistent, loving care.

The Goal: 61 Children Still Need Monthly Partners*

Currently, we have enough support from monthly partners for 73 children, about 55% of our K–12 kids. That means the equivalent of 61 children still need monthly support.

In the past, generous year-end gifts and one-time donations have helped fill the gap—and we’re so thankful for that support. Every gift has made a real difference. With more ongoing monthly partners, we can build an even stronger foundation, freeing one-time gifts for special opportunities like sending more children to post-secondary school, improving facilities, or responding quickly to urgent needs. Your steady partnership makes it possible for us to plan ahead, respond with care, and invest even more deeply in the lives of the children we serve.

We’re believing for 300 people to start or increase their monthly giving by $50 by the end of November. Together, we can provide full support for every child in our care.
