This fall, our construction team will have the tremendous privilege of visiting both of the COM children’s homes. These homes are located in Northern India. One, on the doorstep of the great Himalayan mountain range and the other set deeper into the mountains where the jagged peaks begin to tower!
While on this 3 week trip you will have the opportunity to work hard on designated construction projects during the day, and in the evening you will be able to spend time with the wonderful staff and children who call these homes, home.
Although we do need skilled trades to join our team, it is definitely not a requirement for all. The greatest attributes we look for are a servants heart and a willingness to serve with joy wherever you are needed most.
Projects:
The first and main project this year will be complete in the first 2 weeks of the trip at the more Northern Home. This project will include building additional space for staff to live by adding a third floor to the parking garage.
The final week will be spent at the home where the new boys dorm is currently being constructed. This week will be filled with some more minor projects that need to be done around the home.
